The Surf

The Surf by Stuart Gibson

Photographer Stuart Gibson has found a lovely muse in the rough waters off the coast of Tasmania, Australia.  The force of the surf on sand has created some incredible images, with daring sport surfers as a focal point.  These photos are filled with the power of nature– the monstrous curve of the waves, the rocky coast in the background and the graceful surfer within.  Together, they make for an apt metaphor of the survival of man against nature, so subtly symbolized within each frame.  [stuart gibson via thegrafikmuseum and mosaic]
